SMMS stands for Spunbond Meltblown Meltblown Spunbond.It is a type of nonwoven fabric made of a mixture of three nonwovens: spunbond nonwoven and meltblown nonwoven
These fabrics are distributed into three layers, with spunbond non-woven fabric in the upper and lower two layers and meltblown non-woven fabric in the middle.
SMMS nonwoven fabric is used in medical and hygiene applications due to its superior levels of infection control, sterility, and efficiency
Some common medical and hygiene products made from SMMS nonwoven fabric include surgical gowns, surgical caps, surgical masks, drapes and cover cloths, clothing, incontinence products, feminine hygiene products, diapers, wipes, etc.
